Solid Brass Cast D Rings are ideal for dog collars, bags etc.
D Ring size is the width of webbing that it will take (a 16mm D Ring takes 16mm wide webbing/strapping etc).

If you need to reduce bulk or weight you can use a 16mm D ring with 20mm webbing and a 12mm D ring with 16mm webbing. It is a tight fit but will work - see the photo below.
