The standard adjustable collars in this width are perfect for the very large dogs such as St bernards and Newfoundlands.
Martingales are an excellent alternative to the usual shaped leather collars for whippets, greyhounds and lurchers or any dog that tends to pull or back out of their collar.
There are matching leads for all of the colours.
All made here by us in our workshop. You can have the collars any length that you need. Just enter your dog's neck size in the text box (in cm or inches). If you need an extra couple of inches for growth just say so!
For standard adjustable collars you should be able to get one or two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck so if you just add an inch or two to you dog's neck size this should allow for this. For half check and high control collars there should be a 1 - 2 finger width gap between the two rings that are attached to the main part of the collar.
Half check collars are perfect for dogs that pull - when they do pull the chain tightens to show them that this is not what you want them to do! These collars are much kinder than the all chain choke collars.
Martingales have a webbing extending part and are generally used for sighthounds (whippets, greyhounds etc) whose head is smaller than their neck (making it very easy for them to back out of a normal collar!) They can also be used instead of a half check collar (better for long haired breeds).
